“THE ALLIANCE OF LITERATURE AND FILM.” THE CASE OF FERDYNAND GOETELIn the interwar period Ferdynand Goetel became popular and acclaimed — both in Poland and in other countries — mainly as a novelist, short story writer and reporter. The article presents the lesser-known side of the writer’s contribution — his relationship to the Polish cinematography, which began at the end of the silent film period, and then developed more in the era of sound films.
